On Tuesday, alongside our friends at Cala, the multi-medium clothing and production platform, office helped host the opening event of Century 21's new concept store, Next Century. So, if you are a born-and-raised New Yorker: firstly, HMU because we're hard to find— and secondly, you will know Century 21. But, you probably know it as the go-to spot your grandmother went to shop for her Clinique face powder and Special Occasion pantsuits.
Although the C21 consumers of our parents' generation will certainly still able to have their style needs satisfied by their 2018 stores— now, Century 21 is challenging the classic retail model, and opening up their consumer market— making room for the city's current, modernized couture crowd with their new concept store Next Century.
Offering the items and the energy evoked in the irreverant style of today's off-beat fashion scene, C21 has not only created an innovative physical space which will share the work of rising young designers, C21 knows that what NYC really wants is a next-level experience. Therefore, they've recruited Cala and office to take over the spot to host a series of weekly Summer events feauturing prominent creative figures that will range from live performances to presentations, to parties, and more... ;)
