Get Connected with Ships Have Sailed

Co-produced by Dan Sadin, members Will Carpenter and Art Andranikyan look inwards into their lives, attempting to break down a lifetime of built up walls within themselves. Speaking candidly about their mindset during the creation of this album, the pair leaned into a creative process that focused on optimism. Optimism regarding their music, their lives, their healing, and the world around them. Viewing this as a form of therapeutic relief from trying times on not only a personal level, but a global one as well.

Lyrically and sonically, Ages represents a life arc

Switching between acoustic croons and eccentric hyper-pop dance floor hits, Ages does not fit into a mold normal to the music world, and it isn’t trying to. Carpenter and Andranikyan wanted their album to engulf the listener into their world, to bring them in and allow them to live in their world, even if only for a moment. This album comes a time when the world feels divided. It is man against man, and Ships Have Sailed only hopes that those who listen to this album can find some common ground within the music. Allowing for a much needed moment of release and comradeship.
