Premiere: D3AD6OY - "WHATS LIT WHATS NOT"

The video, shot by Leander Capuozzo and edited by Kiernan "Knives" Francis, shows a group of New York City friends on a white background, wearing designers Niria Official, Annabolina, and Final Home, and vibing to the beat. They’re all dressed to the nines in a distinctly NYC club kid aesthetic, bringing the energy that D3AD6OY encourages.

The beat samples “Don’t Disturb This Groove” by The System, and the New York based artist sonically references this in the way that “WHATS LIT WHATS NOT” is also a groove. It’s the “new age version of what [a groove] can be,” he tells office. His deep voice and tonality are a bit reminiscent of the likes of Dean Blunt, but certainly unique and inspiring in their own right.
