Selahatin x Rick Owens

Selahatin and Rick Owens launch a four-piece mouth care collection: whitening toothpaste, mouthwash, Eau d’Extrait Oral, and a handmade horn toothbrush, also available as a travel set with 50ml mouthwash.

At first glance, mouth care and Rick Owens might seem worlds apart, yet both revolve around ritual and transformation. Selahatin turns the everyday into intimate ceremony; Owens extends that ritual into public expression, a minimalist uniform of poise and presence.

The connection was instant. Owens, who has long believed in magnifying essential objects, saw in Selahatin a brand that elevates the mundane into ceremony. Selahatin’s founder, Kristoffer Vural, created the brand after a stroke rewired the way he perceived taste and scent: Colors, sensations, and synesthetic flashes forming the backbone of each formula.

For this collaboration, Vural crafted a custom Rick Owens aroma: monochrome in spirit, architectural in structure, and intentionally unorthodox. Notes of verbena, Madagascar vanilla, Sichuan pepper, juniper, citrus, black pepper, and peppermint collide to create a clean, metallic afterglow, ritual stripped to its rawest form.

Together, they reimagine mouth care not as hygiene, but as a daily rite: sharpened, intensified, and unmistakably Rick Owens.
