Hangerz

December 06, 2019

Vic Mensa and Junglepussy just joined the revolutionary Russian protest art collective, Pussy Riot, on their latest single, "Hangerz".

Throwing a Molotov cocktail on the inequalities of women's reproductive rights, the trio uses this platform to voice their opinions on how they feel about what's going on—and in the eloquent words of Junglepussy herself, "THIS PUSSY DON'T POP FOR YOU."

The song itself emphasizes the fact that women should have full control of their own body, and with the on-going discussion about the abortion ban in America, the timing from the Russian Protest group couldn’t be better. With the song featuring phrases such as, "burn the white house down," it's safe to say that we can expect a full on pussy riot for women's rights—and office will be joining them. To further the impact, Pussy Riot will be going on a 19-date tour starting in March of 2020, conveniently placed during the (arguably) most consequential election yet.

Tei Shi Drops Make Believe I Make Believe

August 29, 2025

Today marks the exciting release of Tei Shi’s fourth album titled Make believe I make believe. Marked by its ethereal focus on notions of lust, love, and the surrender to both – the album captures an essence that mixes dream-pop and acoustic folk with a dembow flair. Her billingual lyrics will pull you in closer whether they find you in the throes of a sweaty dancefloor or through your headphones.

Made during a week-long retreat on Vancouver island with Noah Bersein and Tommy English, the genre-bending tracks were released independently. With funds from the British Columbia government in hand, the crew got a chance to escape off the grid where their only task was creating. The result is an album that emphasizes Tei Shi’s multicultural identity in an energetic yet intimate way.

PARTYOF2 Drops JUST DANCE 2

August 14, 2025

Best friends and creative duo PARTYOF2 (formerly known as Grouptherapy) return with a new track that acts as the start of their next chapter. Blending dance-pop’s effervescent bounce with sharp rap verses, the song lands in that sweet spot between playful and pointed. Its visuals are stripped-back yet instantly memorable, drawing on just enough nostalgia to feel familiar while clearly pushing their rebrand forward.

Hailing from Los Angeles, PARTYOF2 aren’t afraid to frame their work against the backdrop of a fractured America. Through bursts of saturated color and their own poetic, quick-fire lyricism, they’re crafting a space where sharp social observations and pure sonic joy can co-exist. It’s an invitation, not just to listen, but to join the growing orbit of their world.
