Jacquemus "Le Paysan" SS26 Show

"Le Paysan" is a love letter to those that shaped creative director Simon Porte early on, born from his childhood in the South of France. To his family's rural heritage and his dreams of fashion, this collection focuses on memory and imagination, focusing on the past and future world of Jacquemus. The show was held in L'Orangerie at the Palace of Versailles, the perfect setting for this collection, a building rooted in its connection to earth and linking back to the Jacquemus family and their culture of harvesting. We see leeks in leather, and green beans and eggs as sculptural metal jewelry, a fun pop art twist to add to this story.

From family albums filled with photos of harvest and dressing up, this collection channels simplicity and inspiration. With the shapes of garments and their finishes inspired by vintage tablecloths and linens, classic touches such as an embroidered J monogram and the use of traditional fabrics and methods to create these pieces, they all circle back as an homage to Simon's upbringing. Whilst also re-interpreting silhouettes from earlier collections, we watch the evolution of the house.

LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν Continues Bruce Lee’s Legacy Through New Collaboration

LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν has unveiled a collaboration with Bruce Lee Enterprises, released in conjunction with AAPI Heritage Month and the brand’s tenth collection, All Bets Are Off. Long positioned as a foundational influence for founder Hung La, Bruce Lee’s image, philosophy, and self-determined approach to identity have remained embedded within the brand since its inception. Drawing from Lee’s athletic uniforms, 1970s tailoring, and iconic film imagery, the collection merges LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν’s darker visual language with the unmistakable style of the martial arts legend. Key pieces include a reworked version of Lee’s yellow jumpsuit, graphic ringer tees, and accessories informed by archival film materials.

Rather than recreating Bruce Lee through casting, the campaign works directly with his original image archive, using AI-assisted digital manipulation and retouching to place the collection onto Lee himself, collapsing past and present into a new visual interpretation. What emerges is less a retrospective than a continuation, positioning Bruce Lee not simply as inspiration, but as an enduring framework for self-definition, resistance, and image-making within the world of LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν.
