Streetwear gets a healthy dose of opulence for Y/Project's Fall/Winter 2018 season. The enviable collection is a combination of edge, ego, and elegance— encapsulating the phrase, “I woke up like this.”

The female form is wrapped in bundles of volume, or rolled in a tight swaddle— either way, a spiraling movement pervades; kind of like rolling out of bed and wearing the sheets as your outfit. Hell, even the duvet made it into some of these looks— but let's be real, this bedding has a thread count that can't be found at Bed Bath and Beyond.

This is the ultimate look of lazy luxury— a mix of modern and antiquated materials and aesthetics that manifests the mastery of casual couture we know to count on from Y/Project. As far as footwear, we are excited to see the second coming of the brand's oversized Uggs (cannot wait to see these hit the streets) alongside delicately spiraled slider-style sandals, ready to slip off and go right from the runway and back to bed. Nightcap, anyone?

Reimagining the bold sneaker and juxtaposing it against Brooklyn’s city scape, we play into warm furs and striking fishnets all set against the newly iconic bright blue of the shoe. It tells the story of two souls meeting in a suspended moment, exchanging fragments of emotions and subtle gestures in an interplay of light and shadow, offering a glimpse into the essence of the collection. Challenging the boundaries between simplicity and complexity, the new collection features lightweight fabrics intertwined with structured silhouettes and unexpected touches of color that blur the line between the real and the imaginary. Where the Light Finds Us invites us to inhabit this liminal space: a poetic expression of connection and transformation.

FENTY x PUMA Launches the Avanti LS with Ghetto Gastro

Rihanna’s FENTY x PUMA collaboration takes center stage with the launch of the highly anticipated Avanti LS sneaker. To mark the debut of this limited-edition silhouette, PUMA invited guests to an unforgettable culinary experience in the kitchen at WSA, blending creativity and playfulness in true FENTY fashion.

Hosted by the visionary Ghetto Gastro team and designed by renowned artist Gab Bois, the event featured a menu inspired by the sleek design and striking blue colorway of the Avanti LS. Guests indulged in an innovative array of dishes, including Bluefin Tuna, Wavy Waffles, Bajan Cutterz, Caviar Coupes, Shrooms and Goons, Blueberry Haze Bon Bons, and more.

This one-of-a-kind celebration perfectly embodied the bold spirit of the FENTY x PUMA partnership, where fashion meets fearless self-expression.
