Balancing glamour with rebellion, Carson Lovett fuses history, bohemia, and street culture to create whimsical yet ironically eclectic designs. His new AW ‘25 collection, L.A Winter, under his label LOVETT was inspired by the “thrift-centric” essence of all-American fashion, and released earlier this week. Echoing L.A. Winter’s mantra —“A culture preserved is no culture at all”— the collection plays with dissonance, juxtaposing varsity jackets reimagined as skirts and dresses, bandage dresses adorned with playful bows, and sports stripes running from hip to floor.
