For SS24, JW Anderson Disrupts the Ordinary

In his latest collection, Jonathan Anderson skillfully blends rough and smooth elements, combining playfulness with sophistication and infusing high fashion with the spirit of rugby. The JW Anderson Spring/Summer 2024 show in Milan drew from Anderson's upbringing immersed in the world of rugby. He pays homage to his father Willie, who once captained Ireland's Rugby Union team with garments that reflect a domestic, yet sport-minded sensibility.

The collared and striped rugby shirts evoke memories of hard tackles and days spent on the pitch. Vibrantly colored polka dots and stripes playfully draw the eye across structured vests and shoulder pads. Cracked leather jackets, adorned with mature figures, serve as a reflection of the well-worn leather couch in Anderson's childhood home. The abundance of knitwear and the meticulous use of asymmetrical silhouettes are a reminder to the audience that, despite the seriousness often associated with fashion, there is always room for humour and play.

To mark the debut of this limited-edition silhouette, PUMA invited guests to an unforgettable culinary experience in the kitchen at WSA, blending creativity and playfulness in true FENTY fashion.

Hosted by the visionary Ghetto Gastro team and designed by renowned artist Gab Bois, the event featured a menu inspired by the sleek design and striking blue colorway of the Avanti LS.
