Beepy Bella's Fantasy Fairytale

Isabella Lalonde, the owner of the jewelry of our dreams— Beepy Bella, is releasing a new collection of gold jewelry including several rings, a necklace, and earrings in 18k golden vermeil. It sounds to die for. Bella has collaborated with the photographer Nas Nix x, to create a campaign that is more than just ethereal, the dewy nature and dreamlike jewelry and set are diaphanous, and the many pieces of jewelry that Isabella has made will have us staring at the website in an omega heat.

Looking back at Bella’s past work, this upcoming creator is always giving us something we can adore. Featured in other magazines such as Forbes, Vogue, Nylon, and more, Isabella Lalonde is setting down a red carpet, or should we say— garden of esteemed works with necklaces and rings that bring a blush to our cheeks and infatuation to our hearts. Our ears even get a bit pointier; Beepy Bella is a jewelry brand of fairy dust.

In this campaign, we are given a sultry perception of what Beepy Bella is becoming. With forestry, corsets, this campaign takes us on an adventure of glamour with mushroom charms, pearls, lace gloves, and more. The inspiration behind not only this campaign but the inspiration behind Beepy Bella attributes to nature and the mystical magic of fairies.

Isabella writes, “There are many stories behind the symbols I use within my work. For instance, frogs have been my favorite animal since I could remember. I used to write every essay for school about them. Mushrooms are also a favorite creature of mine. I actually used to grow plenty of culinary mushrooms in my kitchen. When I made performance art videos in college, I would often greenscreen a tiny version of myself walking along a landscape of hand-grown shiitake mushrooms. It was a way to embed myself into the surrealism of nature and the natural world, which is something I have eternal respect for.”

Along with this nurture to nature, Isabella’s eye for detail is what gives each piece regardless if it dangles from your ears or daunts from your neck is individually crafted. “My approach to designing jewelry is relatively unconventional. As an artist, I view every piece through the lens of fine art, rather than a commercial object. This allows my creations to innately embody profound meaning, not only to myself but to those who wear them. Every detail is meticulously considered. There is more room to experiment and innovate when you are not holding yourself to industry standards or traditional design methods. It's freeing and rebellious.” Isabella states. Luis De Javier's Puta Takeover

Last night with Luis De Javier, guests were overheard confirming this generation's most vital conundrum: “If I’m cunt, I can still be pussy.” “And if you’re pussy, you can still be cunt.” This sentiment echoed throughout the night as we celebrated De Javier’s first-ever streetwear collection, "Puta". We spent seven hours at Ella Funt at a dinner turned party that only he could’ve thrown (co-hosted by emcee). It was too dark for even the most aspiring-to-look-mysterious of us to wear sunglasses inside. Under the semi-oppressive flash of party photographers, we danced as much as the space would allow, drank tequila out of teacups and kissed each other on the cheeks with a vaguely European intimacy. “I’m doing streetwear!” De Javier could be heard exclaiming — whether it be in disbelief or excitement, we couldn’t tell you.

The Spanish-born London-based designer has been well-loved for his genderless tailoring, latex mastery, and overall message of empowerment. Dressing everyone from ravers to A-listers, De Javier’s latest drop pushes his design repertoire to a new level. “While designing for my celebrity clientele and showcasing my creations on the runway has always been my dream,” he notes, “It’s equally important to me that my brand resonates with a wider, more diverse audience.” While this collection’s medium has shifted from corsets to sweatshirts, the classic LDJ avant-garde sensibilities remain. Bikinis and booty shorts are shamelessly emblazoned with “PUTA,” blazers are constructed with ample shoulder padding, and I had my eye on the cheekily-named “Faguette Bag.”

The Puta collection will be available exclusively on emcee.

In the wake of significant challenges including the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian war which has heavily impacted production and logistics, Syndicate continues to innovate by integrating themes of survival, resilience, and the complex emotions involved in modern relationships. The collection features bold, thematic elements such as textual prints derived from real-life break-up phrases embodying the irony and emotional depth of contemporary dating narratives.

Some of the collection prints were created in collaboration with Magalie Heroux — a London-based graphic designer, the "Dating Olympics" collection employs a mix of early 2000s aesthetics with simple, impactful fonts and ironic slogans, capturing a nostalgic yet fresh vibe. The use of heat-reactive techniques further enriches the tactile experience, emphasising the warmth and connection that are essential to human interaction.
