Class Is in Session

The classic uniform shirting gets an innovative upgrade with a bust supporting neckline construction first introduced last season. Pulling inspiration from her Killina Secondary School uniform, O’Dwyer includes mohair pullovers, cardigans, box pleated plaid culottes and rara shorts to pair with  thigh-high striped socks made by Crocs.

Her transitional summer collection would not be complete without floor-sweeping gowns featuring schoolhouse stripes and using picot trimmed, shirred satin bands, and robust elasticated knit to allow the body to move more freely. Some fan favorite motifs make a reappearance here, including the single strap spiral top, panelled shorts, and a knit bandeau leotard, and a windowpane detail that first appeared for SS23 across pleated culottes and halter neck bibs.

Embedding her brand philosophy into each piece of the collection, O’Dwyer leaves nothing left unsaid here. The message of this assembly is clear- fashion should be for everybody and “every body”, and while the rest of the industry is playing catch up, O’Dwyer is taking matters into her own hands.
