Dapper Dan Reflects on Meaningful Expression with PUMA

Dap has influenced the industry since the early ‘80s selling his remixed style out the trunk of a car. He even wrapped his hip hop client’s vehicles in the signature Harlem finesse he’s known for. “I did to fashion what hip hop did to music, what jazz did to music, what we’ve always done to music,” he said.

 

Dapper Dan always paid homage to his community with his artistry, and in the campaign with PUMA, he is set to tour select retailers in a car wrapped by Dap the day of the launch. As he galvanizes expression in his recent collaboration, we can always remember he’s really not all that new to this.

 

The limited capsule will be available on January 14 at select retailers worldwide.
