Oaxaca's Colorful Indigenous Culture

Both Leyva and Corona are at the forefront of the creative revolution of Oaxaca. Leyva having co-founded Espina Talent Agency to center indegenous models, like those appearing in this series. Espina, the spanish word for "thorns," speaking, not to the hurtful nature of a pricked thumb, but instead the protective power of thorns, which are common to Oaxacan  plant life. This editorial further explores the rejuvinating power of creativity borne from the roots of cultural history.
